How is speaking different from talking?
Every child knows how to talk. In fact, most of them tag themselves as “chatterbox”. However, most of them find it difficult to speak in front of others.
Speaking to people is something your child will encounter at every stage of his life.
Whether it’s reading a book report to their class, interviewing for their first job, or presenting to an important client during their career, being able to speak to the public or a group of people confidently is a vital asset your child will need throughout their life. Some children are naturally outgoing, but others are shyer.
As a parent, it is our responsibility to help them instill the confidence they need to speak to others without anxiety or fear. We need to put the concept of speaking into practice early in their lives.
Becoming a good public speaker does not always happen overnight, and while it may come easy for some children, it can be extremely difficult for others.
It is time we helped our child explore, learn, and believe in themselves by giving them the confidence to speak.
Chatterbox is one such platform where we encourage our children to practice speaking through games and activities. We ignite the importance of effective speaking through play. Let’s come together and help our children overcome the anxiety and teach them the freedom of speech.
